Description of Facebook Event

"York TUC has seen a massive increase in the number of people wanting help and advice in workplaces, especially those in low-paid jobs, since the COVID-19 crisis began. There are voluntary groups springing up right across the city doing fantastic work, but so busy that we don't often have the time to get together and report what is going on in our own fields, and to share best practice and resources with other groups dealing with the effects of the COVID-19 crisis. This meeting is an opportunity to bring together those involved in helping those struggling to cope with the lockdown, looking after the vulnerable and defending workplace rights at a time when some companies are using this as an excuse to attack them. The meeting is open to all trade unionists, campaigners, climate activists, students, anti-racists and everyone who wants to put people’s health before profit. Speakers will include York TUC, Defend Our NHS York and other COVID-19 campaign groups. You will need the Zoom app to attend the meeting, which you can download here: https://us04web.zoom.us/download
Once you have the app, just open it on the night, go to "Join Meeting" and enter this ID: 827-489-7492 and password 583858. "
